The end of ISDN is finally here, beginning the 30th of June 2018, Telstra will discontinue the sale of ISDN related services.
This means if anyone still on ISDN and requires an extra service will be denied from the 30th onwards. Telstra says ISDN is end-of-life and will be disconnected when NBN has completed its 5-year roll out.
The good news is that VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is now very reliable and offers more flexibility and features that the old-tech. And even better most businesses can save money because VoIP calls are cheaper!
